Prevented from Visiting Site of Illegal Sand Mining in Pulwama, Says Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday claimed that she was stopped by the police from visiting Rambiara Nalla in Pulwama district of south Kashmir. She claimed that sand extraction by way of unlawful tenders was being carried out within the space and lashed out on the administration alleging that Jammu and Kashmir has been changed into an open air jail.

There was no response from the police to queries on Mehbooba’s fees. I used to be stopped from visiting Rambiara Nalla at the moment by native admin. Mufti on Saturday additionally accused the Centre of “sabotaging” the participation of political events aside from the BJP within the District Improvement Council (DDC) polls in Jammu and Kashmir by not permitting them to marketing campaign freely.
